Glamorous Real Estate Life

This is me... on the floor in the hallway of our hotel in Disney World. I was in between 2 offer presentations, the fireworks at Epcot were going off and the kids were enjoying them from the window. In our small room, there was no way I could do a double offer presentation and rather than sit and hide on the toilet, I opted for the hallway.

Sometimes, this is what real estate looks like. I planned the offers day later in the evening because I knew we would be back in our room and the kids would need to chill anyway. I didn't want to push the listings back to accommodate my holiday as I truly believed this specific week was the best week for my clients... so I did what I had to do.

I was so happy that night when one property sold unconditionally and the other, I got the text message that all conditions had been satisfied when I was standing outside of Gringots waiting to buy a wand from Olivanders.

While you can easily skip that process and easily find contractors who will do the work without permits, it can cause headaches when you are selling your home as that can be a bit of a red flag for future buyers.

The city also loves looking at listings to find work that doesn't match up with their database so the likelihood of you being caught increases and then it can get a bit messy for you or the future buyer of your home when the city comes knocking.

Teamwork Makes The Dream Work!

When Sabrina was just joining the team she knew that a conference trip was being planned in Orlando... she said "Oh we should get a pic in front of the castle so we can say Teamwork makes the dream work!" so...... we made it happen!

After a full day of soaking up knowledge, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom where these two pushed me past all my comfort zones. I am not a big rides person, and safe to say I was terrified as they took me on rollercoasters and laughed at my screaming.
