149 Laurel Ridge SOLD
/Sometimes things happen so dang fast you hardly even have a story to tell.
With an accepted off on a home they were looking to buy, Michelle and Bruce took an entire week off work to prep their home for the market. Working incredibly hard to pack and store, follow through with the stagers suggestions, and getting a plan in place for showings paid off!
We hit the market on Monday with showings starting on Thursday, and my spidey senses started going off on Tuesday. The showing requests were already coming in. We had prepared for the long haul. Statistically it should have sat on the market for quite a while, but as I said in the listing video we had a trifecta. At the time we hit the market it was the only bungalow in 3 adjoining neighbourhoods. We also had a park behind it and the fact that it was a corner lot.
With the right marketing put in place buyers from Toronto flew in Thursday for a showing at 12:00, by 7:00 they had landed back in Toronto and at 8:30 we were sitting down to review an offer on the very first day of showings.
Bruce specifically was nearly speechless and ready for hugs before the contract was even signed. Shortly after 9pm we were able to head out front and hang up the SOLD sign and let them return to “normal” life after just one day of showings.
Our year long journey has ended! After searching for the right home for you to buy it all fell perfectly into place last night with these awesome out of town buyers. Thank you for all you hard work in prepping your home. It takes teamwork to sell a home, and you were a very key part of that team.
