What’s The Best Way To Approach Selling A Home While Tenanted?

Tenanted properties are a tough one. I understand that you need a tenant in there to cover costs while you sell, but here are a few reasons why you should consider having your tenant vacate the property before you put it up for sale.

-Tenants sabotage listings - yup, on purpose they will make showings difficult, do damage to the property, not allow showings etc (hint, they don't want you selling the home they are living in)

-What if they don't leave - you sold it, the new owner is set to take possession, and the tenants refuse to leave.... it happens, and now there is a big legal mess.

-The best tenants can go from super amazing to downright nasty during the process.
