58 Faraway SOLD

I have been waiting about 3 weeks to get to write this story!

On November 15th I was heading off early in the morning on a flight to Morocco, and after Josee and Tim got an accepted offer on a home they were purchasing we needed to get their home on the market ASAP, which meant November 12th.

We were ver strategic with our list price having observed the homes that were sitting on the market a little too long, and what the averages were for the neighbourhood. We priced it $5000 lower than all the other comparable homes on the market. Josee and Tim had done a lot of work prepping the home to ensure that it was tip top for showings, and we would soon learn how much all that work would pay off.

November 12th it hit the market, and November 13th was the first day of showings. The showing requests started coming in right away, and I think all of our spidey senses started going off. I had such a good feeling that we would be receiving an offer that very day.

Sure enough, by 4:00, it was confirmed that we were going to have at least one offer, and by later that evening we had THREE offers that very first day of showings! Josee literally jumped for joy and is officially the best reaction I have ever seen to the news of offers coming in.

Conditions were due on the 15th, the same day I was flying out. By the time I reached Toronto airport I was busy answering questions from the buyers and finalizing the last few details. I was hoping before the second flight left that I would have condition removals, but upon boarding the plane it was clear I wouldn’t. Thankfully the airline had the best inflight Wifi I have ever had, and as I was flying somewhere over the great lakes and on my way to Morocco, the paperwork came in and the house was officially SOLD.

I was beyond happy that everything fell into place so perfectly and I was able to be there and get it all done before I lost cell reception. I was so excited to come home and finally take this picture with this amazing couple.

Josee and Tim, you guys have been amazing. I will never ever forget your joy when we received those offers, and I cannot wait to visit you in your new home.
