Congratulations Catia and Fernando!

The hunt for the right home for this awesome couple was very slow moving. There wasn’t a lot for them to look at in the area they wanted to live and so showings of perspective homes were scattered throughout the recent months.

I could sense their frustrations. The area that they wanted to live tends to be a bit pricier, which means that even small homes with lots of work are higher up there for price point. We saw homes with water in the basement, slopes and slants, and itty bitty homes right along the highway. None were quite right for them.

And then we came across this awesome one. It is an estate sale and this home does need a bit of work but you can’t beat the price for the awesome location. Fernando just shrugged off everything that needed to be done stating that he had no problems doing this work himself and would have it looking fabulous in no time.

Being able to tell them that they got the house was the best feeling ever. Catia text me back about 3 or 4 times telling me that she just couldn’t believe it. We were in competition and although we wanted it we had to be careful how much higher over list price we went, but we managed to clinch it!
